I’ve introduced social features and renamed the site Shingan Chess. “Shingan” is a Japanese term meaning “the mind’s eye”—the ability to perceive things beyond what is immediately visible.
The social features currently support the following:
I believe that each of the 64 squares on a chessboard has its own character. The “Square” section is designed as a place where players can share their perspectives on individual squares.
Similarly, the “Opening” section is intended to be a space where players can share how they think about specific openings.
Next, I plan to introduce score tracking for training exercises, along with a leaderboard, in the near future.
