Guide
Endgames simply have fewer pieces, which makes them well suited to practising blindfold chess for real. Rather than memorising a vast catalogue of winning patterns, start with something simple like 2 pawns vs 1 and build your stock of winning patterns from there.
This app lets you play the AI from any position.
This is not the level of “know this pawn structure and you win” from the earlier example — it is training aimed at the level of “get any material edge and you win”. Keep at it and you may find yourself confident that a pawn up is a win, and that a rook ending is one you will not lose.
Everyone has their own way with endgames, so please take it on in whatever way suits you.
